Dade City Man Jailed In April Sex Attack

DADE CITY - Dade City police have arrested a man who they say broke into a woman's home in April, held a gun to her head and forced her to perform a sex act.
DNA evidence linked Mandarin Heshamin Colbert, 30, of 38344 Hampton Ave., Dade City, to the April 21 home invasion on Lake Avenue, Dade City police said.
A cell phone, wallet and cash were taken in the April 21 home invasion, police said.
Colbert was charged with home invasion robbery and sexual battery. He was taken to Pasco County Jail where he is being held on $200,000 bail.
Colbert was arrested Wednesday when he arrived for a scheduled appointment at the parole and probation office in Dade City, police said.
