Fla. Boater Knocked Unconscious By Leaping Dolphin

EDGEWATER - A boater is hospitalized after being knocked unconscious by a leaping dolphin along the Atlantic coast of central Florida.
The Coast Guard says witnesses called 911 Thursday morning after seeing the dolphin jump out of the Intracoastal Waterway and hit the woman in a 17-foot boat. She was among three people in the boat.
The woman had regained consciousness by the time the Coast Guard reached the boat in Edgewater.
Officials say the woman is listed in stable condition. Her husband also is hospitalized, but it was unclear if the dolphin also struck him. The couple's names have not been released.
