Seminole Casino Player Scores MegaJackpot Prize

TAMPA - The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa awarded its first Wheel of Fortune machine MegaJackpot, a $334,279 payoff to an anonymous winner.

The payoff Monday was the first to be paid at the Tampa casino and the second to be awarded in Florida.

The Seminole Casino in Coconut Creek awarded a $2.3 million prize in July on a Wheel of Fortune machine.

The $1 Wheel of Fortune has a starting jackpot of $300,000. To win a MegaJackpot, a player must bet $3 at a time while attempting to line up Wheel of Fortune symbols on the machine's payline.

The Wheel of Fortune is linked to a nationwide Native American progressive gaming network.

Each time a coin is played in a linked machine in the network, the jackpot accumulates until a winner hits the jackpot.
