A 20-year-old Bradenton man was arrested shortly after midnight for firing shots at a red Jeep, according to a Manatee County Sheriff's Office release.
Deputies say they responded to 3600 19th St. W in Bradenton early this morning when a resident reported someone shooting at the Jeep.
According to the release:
When deputies arrived, they found Domenic J. Merino, 20, of 920 61st Ave. Cir. E and another person. Merino was identified at the person who fired at the Jeep. A loaded 9-mm handgun was found near Merino and a spent casing was found near where the witness said Merino fired at the Jeep.
The Jeep was never found and the person Merino was with was not charged.
Merino was charged with carrying a concealed firearm.
