CHAMBERLAIN 56, SICKLES 9

Published: October 11, 2008

THE DIFFERENCE: The Chiefs' offensive line provided plenty of time for QB Dontae Aycock to find his receivers while also showing RB Kenny Allen ample daylight, resulting in a big night for the Chamberlain offense.

GAME NOTES: Aycock scored rushing touchdowns (20, 7 yards) on the Chiefs' first two drives. ... The Gryphons responded on the first drive in the second quarter with their only touchdown when Tony Jeffrey caught a 15-yard Cullen O'Brien pass for a score. ... The Chiefs then retaliated with 28 unanswered points before halftime, giving them a 42-9 lead. ... Sickles could not get a momentum swing, as the Chiefs continued to dominate on the ground and in the air.

STAT OF THE GAME: Aycock finished with five touchdowns - three rushing and two passing. Allen finished with two rushing scores.

QUOTE OF THE GAME: "We can run the ball; that's the nature of our offense and they did phenomenal." - Chamberlain coach Billy Turner
