Respect The Office - Period

I sincerely hope I am not the only one saddened by the state of complete disrespect for our nation's leadership, past, present and, likely, future. Yes, I understand the freedom of expression we enjoy, but somewhere a line has been crossed.

Comedians, other celebrities and high-profile media personalities have made it seem cool to be cruel. My preferred presidential candidate may not be victorious in November, but my esteem for the office will remain intact, regardless.

Wouldn't it be grand if respect for "the administration," whoever is elected, trickled down to others in authority - law enforcement, teachers - and to even parents and grandparents?
