ST. PETERSBURG - A small ammonia cloud above a seafood wholesaler prompted warnings to residents near 16th Avenue South to stay inside Saturday night.
Firefighters went to Key West Fresh and Frozen, 333 16th Ave. S., and saw the anhydrous ammonia cloud, but said no one was in the building and no injuries were reported.
A reverse 911 call to area residents told them to stay indoors. By 11 p.m., firefighters stopped the leak. Tests showed air quality was normal.
