In A Field Of Flags, Veterans Are Honored

USF student and Bulls football long snapper Darryl Dudding replaces weather-worn flags in the Field of Honor display with new ones.

At a ceremony Saturday, 226 flags were added to the Field of Honor display at Veterans Memorial Park on U.S. 301 in Tampa. That brings the total to 4,791, each flag representing a U.S. casualty in Iraq or Afghanistan. After the ceremony, USF student Darryl Dudding helped replace weathered flags.
