Officials: Seminole Man, 93, Dies From Apparent Drowning

A 93-year-old man died at his Seminole home Sunday afternoon, the victim of an apparent drowning, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said.
Walter Stubbs, of 14381 Mark Drive, Seminole, was found in the bottom of a pool by his wife and her daughter when they returned from the beach at 3:54 p.m., deputies said. Paramedics pulled Stubbs out of the water but pronounced him dead at the scene.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine cause of death, deputies said.
