NEW PORT RICHEY - Thousands of bikers converged on downtown New Port Richey this weekend for the fourth-annual Cotee River Bike Fest, which ended Sunday.
"We've got this beautiful downtown. The bikers love coming here. They love the scenery. They love the atmosphere," said Dan Sullivan, who organizes the event for the West Pasco Chamber of Commerce.
"It actually was an excellent event this year."
A highlight of the two-day event was an escorted ride Sunday, led by Pasco County Sheriff Bob White. That drew 361 riders. The event also included two days of music, food, games, a tattoo contest and a fire truck pull.
