TAMPA - National Football League Commissioner Roger Goodell will discuss Super Bowl plans during a luncheon today hosted by the Tampa Bay Super Bowl Host Committee.
The sold-out event is at 11:30 p.m. at the Tampa Marriott Waterside.
Super Bowl XLIII will be held Feb. 1 at Raymond James Stadium.
The committee expects the game to bring about 100,000 people to the Tampa Bay area during the week leading up to the game.
Tampa has hosted the Super Bowl on three previous occasions, in 1984, 1991 and 2001.
