TODAY

GIRLS

Class 2A-District 10

Where: Heritage Harbor, 8 a.m.

Outlook: Plant has won seven consecutive district titles, and the Panthers have a good chance to keep that streak alive.

Class 2A-District 11

Where: Heritage Isles, 9 a.m.

Outlook: Wharton and Durant, led by senior standouts Shena Yang and Amy West, respectively, should battle it out for the district title.

Class 1A-District 14

Where: the Eagles, 10 a.m.

Outlook: Berkeley Prep ran away with the district title last year, and the Bucs look poised to do so again, with senior twin sisters Kim and Kyleen Carpenter leading the way.

BOYS

Class 2A-District 10

Where: Silver Dollar, 8 a.m.

Outlook: Plant has won the last three district titles, and the Panthers, with another solid lineup led by senior Doug Letson, are the frontrunners to claim the top spot again.

Class 1A-District 14

Where: the Eagles, 9 a.m.

Outlook: Jesuit has won the last two district titles, but Berkeley Prep, Tampa Prep and Tampa Catholic should give the Tigers a run for their money this year.

TUESDAY

BOYS

Class 2A-District 11

Where: Temple Terrace, Noon

Outlook: Wharton is the defending district champ, and the Wildcats should be in the mix again for the top spot along with Plant City, Bloomingdale and Riverview, in a very deep district.
