TAMPA - People can reclaim stolen property Saturday that Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office deputies recovered in an undercover sting this year.
Deputies recovered nearly $1.5 million and made arrests in the yearlong operation run out of SouthEast Auction Services, a storefront deputies set up on West Waters Avenue.
Anyone looking to recover guns, laptops and other swag will need to bring a police report that documents the theft.
The booty will be on display from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the sheriff's District 2 office, 2310 N. Falkenburg Road.
The sting was set up to get illegal weapons off the street by buying them. Investigators recovered 102 firearms, 50 vehicles, $78,000 cash and 40 pounds of cocaine.
For information, call District 2 at (813) 247-8560.
