Kenneth L. Borders wanted to talk to the FBI on Tuesday night, so he called 911.
Problem is, deputies say, the FBI can't be reached by calling 911.
The 51-year-old Tampa man was told not to call 911 again unless there was an emergency. Borders called 911 two more times, Hillsborough County sheriff's spokeswoman Debbie Carter said.
After the third time, deputies went to Borders' home and asked him to stop making calls. Borders voluntarily broke his phone then called again on a different phone, Carter said.
After the fourth 911 call Tuesday night, deputies arrested him.
He was charged with making false 911 calls.
Borders, of 2927 Ramada Drive, Apt. 433, remained in Orient Road Jail today. His bail was set at $500.
