One of three men committing a home invasion in Largo was shot several times, Largo police say.
Police say they responded to gunshot victim Antonio R. Bailey about 1:40 a.m. today at Wal-Mart, 1111 Missouri Ave. Officers learned about the same time that shots had been fired near 610 First Ave. N.E.
Police later determined the incidents were related.
It turns out that three men – including Bailey – went to 610 First Ave N.E. for a drug deal early this morning and committed a home invasion robbery there, officers say.
Bailey's injuries weren't life-threatening. He was taken to a hospital.
Nobody else was injured during the home invasion.
Officers arrested Bailey, 30, and 25-year-old Arthur G. Thompson. Police know who the third suspect is and are looking for him, Lt. Mike Loux said. They aren't releasing the person's name.
Those with information about the suspect's whereabouts can call Detective Randy Chaney at (727) 587-6730.
