TAMPA - University of South Florida trustees today will consider raising the fees students pay for campus activities, health services and athletics.
Administrators say the $1.47 per-credit-hour increase is necessary to cover increased utility and security costs, student mental health counselors and student-athlete scholarships.
A student taking 15 credit hours a semester would pay about $22 more under the proposal.
