TAMPA - University of South Florida senior LB Brouce Mompremier and DE George Selvie will return to the starting lineup when the Bulls host Syracuse on Saturday.
Mompremier hasn't played since suffering a neck injury at Florida International on Sept. 20, but returned to practice last week. Mompremier initially was knocked unconscious at FIU and momentarily lost feeling in his arms and legs, but has fully recovered.
Selvie, who suffered a high ankle sprain at FIU, missed one game and wasn't 100 percent against Pittsburgh. However, Selvie said Tuesday he would definitely play.
Also, NT Terrell McClain, who didn't play at N.C. State because of an ankle injury and played sparingly against Pittsburgh, also will be ready and could start.
ODDS AND ENDS: Kickoff for USF's Oct. 25 game at Louisville will be 3:30 p.m. and will be shown on Bright House Sports Network. ... QB Matt Grothe was sporting a fresh Mohawk haircut at Thursday's practice. Several players, as they ran off the field, were saying, "We can't lose with the 'Grohawk.'"
