A Valrico man and a 17-year-old boy broke into several vehicles in Valrico this morning, Hillsborough County deputies say.
Deputies arrested Michael Mullis, 22, about 5 a.m. today.
He was charged with six counts each of burglary of a conveyance and petty theft, and one count each of disorderly intoxication and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to his criminal arrest affidavits.
Mullis was arrested about 5 a.m. today at Citrus Wood Lane and Valrico Forest Drive.
The 17-year-old also has been arrested on felony charges, according to Mullis' arrest affidavit. The teenager's name wasn't immediately available.
Mullis and the teen stole a drill, cash, compact discs, a lighter and a credit card from unlocked vehicles, deputies say.
About 5 a.m., Mullis had a knife in his pocket, smelled of alcohol and was "extremely belligerent while yelling and cursing and standing in the middle of the roadway disrupting the peacefulness of the community," the affidavit states.
He remained in Orient Road Jail today. His bail hadn't been set.
