TAMPA - Looking for love over the lunch hour?

Puppies, kittens, dogs and cats are available for adoption until 2 p.m. today in downtown Tampa's Lykes Gaslight Square.

Hillsborough County Animal Services and the Humane Society of Tampa Bay are sponsoring the Pets in the Park adoption event.

Bring cash or a check and a photo ID if you plan to adopt a pet. If you aren't interested in adopting, but want to help the animals, you may donate blankets, towels, toys and treats for use at animal shelters.

The park is at Franklin Street and Kennedy Boulevard.
