THE DIFFERENCE: Agape Christian's Maurice Terrell was a one-man wrecking crew, scoring four touchdowns - three on runs and one on an interception. He ended the game with 164 yards rushing, 134 in the first half. He also had two sacks and a punt return of 67 yards.
GAME NOTES: Terrell was sensational when he had the ball, with gains of 12, 30, 15, 63 and 19 in his first five carries. ... Carrollwood Day quarterback Billy Embody came out firing, throwing for 118 yards, completing 12 of 24 attempts. The biggest play was a pass to Dillon Floyd for 26 yards. ... Matt Monteilh caught four of the passes for 41 yards. ... Carrollwood Day coach Lane McLaughlin said he had a hole in his schedule when he booked the larger Agape, which attracts student-athletes from central Florida. He said he was disappointed that the team left starters in to open the fourth quarter. "They just don't have a lot of class, and you can quote me on that," McLaughlin said. ... Carrollwood Day played four eighth-graders on its offense line, and the team allowed 11 sacks.
