PLANT SALE & WOW DEMO: The annual Plant Sale and Flea Market from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday includes a 10 a.m. workshop on sensational special effects. The event is sponsored by the Sunset Park Garden Club, 4624 W. Browning Ave., Tampa. Horticulturist Val Van Orden, who has worked for Busch Gardens and Cypress Gardens will provide the "wow!" demonstration.
GARDEN TOUR: Visit five private gardens and seven garden rooms during the Fall Garden Tour and Plant Sale, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 1. The self-guided tour is hosted by the Dade City Garden Club. Tickets are $10 for adults, free for children. Get your ticket and tour map at the clubhouse, 13630 Fifth St., Dade City. HOLIDAY MARKET: Find custom wreaths, yard art, lawn furniture, plants, holiday decorations and gifts at the Tampa Garden Club's annual Open House and Holiday Market, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 13 at the club headquarters, 2629 Bayshore Blvd., Tampa. Admission is free.
SUNDAY IN THE PARK: Temple Terrace Garden Club's fourth annual family day is from noon to 4 p.m. Nov. 16 at Woodmont Park, on Woodmont Drive across the street from the Temple Terrace Golf and Country Club. Learn about the environment and gardening, and shop the vendors while the kids play games and make crafts. Proceeds benefit the Sincerely, Santa charity for needy children in Hillsborough County.
