In county commission District 1, incumbent Commissioner Ted Schrader will be on the ballot opposed by a blank line - the legacy of write-in candidate John Taylor.
Taylor's write-in declaration this summer turned the District 1 race between Schrader and John Nicolette of Darby into a closed Republican primary, which Schrader won.
Taylor withdrew as a write-in candidate last month, but not before the paper ballots had been printed, Supervisor of Elections Brian Corley said this week.
Because he is essentially unopposed, Schrader will retain his seat and votes for him will not be certified, Corley said.
