Florida Woman, 23, Gets First Haircut, Ever

LAKE CITY - She's 23, but a Florida woman just got her hair cut for the first time.
Mary Holt says that her parents never cut her hair, only her bangs, and that when she got older she was afraid to cut it. Her hair grew to more than 5 feet long.
Holt got the haircut in September on the Tyra Banks Show in New York, but the show she was on was broadcast Thursday. Holt says she donated her hair to a nonprofit organization that gives wigs to children.
Holt says her life is different without the long locks. She doesn't have to put in her hair and lap to sit, and it no longer takes 20 minutes to brush.
Oh, and she uses a lot less shampoo.
