LOS ANGELES - Toni Braxton will no longer break it down on "Dancing with the Stars."
The singer and her professional partner, Alec Mazo, were eliminated Tuesday from ABC's popular dancing competition. The pair received a score of 22 out of 30 from the show's judges during Monday's performance after a respectable West Coast swing routine. The "Unbreak My Heart" crooner was booted after that score was combined with viewer votes.
"My goal was reached," Braxton, who has coronary microvascular angina, said after she was dismissed. "I wanted to do better. I wanted to breathe better. And I was definitely breathing better. I've come a long way from Week 1 to Week Now."
Celebrities remaining in the competition include former Tampa Bay Buccaneers star Warren Sapp; TV personality Brooke Burke; singer Lance Bass; Olympic gold medalist Maurice Greene; actor Cody Linley; and actresses Cloris Leachman and Susan Lucci.
Chef Rocco DiSpirito, reality TV star Kim Kardashian, actor Ted McGinley and comedian Jeffrey Ross were previously eliminated.
After Tuesday's results show, dancer Julianne Hough took a trip to the hospital with stomach trouble.
The 20-year-old, who's partnered with Linely, went to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The judges selected the pair to perform an encore of their jitterbug routine from Monday's performance show.
"She was experiencing slight stomach pains all day that increased, and the doctors thought it was best to have them checked out," said Hough's publicist, Cindy Guagenti. "But she didn't collapse."
Multiple contestants and professional dancers have sustained injuries this season.
