Plant City Police Investigating Credit Union Robbery

PLANT CITY - Police are investigating a robbery this afternoon at GTE Credit Union, 2201 James L. Redman Parkway.
A man about 50 to 60 years old walked into the thrift about 1:45 p.m. and handed a note to a teller. After he received the cash, he left the building.
A man fitting the robber's description was detained outside a physician's office a short distance away but he was released after officers concluded he was not involved.
