Top Reasons To Vote Obama

To the undecideds and independents, I offer 10 reasons to lean toward Obama:

1. Socialism/communism works; capitalism doesn't.

2. Ninety-five percent of you will receive a tax rebate (even though only 70 percent of you pay taxes).

3. There is a reasonable explanation for how Obama could sit in the pews and listen to his mentor spew anti-American and racist diatribes for 20 years and not know until the media spotlighted the Rev. Wright that he was a hate-filled nut-case (Obama's going to let us know right after the election).

4. William Ayers was just a casual acquaintance.

5. Increasing corporate taxes will allow corporations to expand their businesses, spend more on R&D and hire more people, thus stimulating the economy.

6. By reason of their failure, the unproductive have a right to stick their hands in the wallets of the successful.

7. As an issue of "fairness," the top 10 percent of wage earners, who now pay 70 percent of income taxes, will have to shoulder more of the burden, maybe 80 or 90 percent.

8. If, like Michelle Obama, you've never been proud of your country until Obama was nominated.

9. Joe Biden, Obama's pick for VP, with 30-plus years in the beltway, is an outsider that will stimulate change in Washington.

10. A first term senator with no military and little-to-no private sector experience is the perfect choice to lead the most powerful military and most dynamic economy on the planet.

That's all for now. I have to slip a quarter under my pillow for the tooth fairy.
