Early Voting On Pace To Double 2004 Numbers

Early voting continues on a record pace in Hillsborough County.
In the first five days of early voting, 44,915 people cast a ballot at one of the county's 13 early voting sites, according to the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections. That's on pace to double the number of early votes cast in the 2004 general election.
Early voting began Monday, and the number of voters has grown each day since. About 8,200 voters cast a ballot Monday; by today, that figure had grown to almost 10,000.
Early voting continues through Nov. 1. The general election is on Nov. 4.
