NEED TO KNOW: The Hurricanes will try to build on their two-game winning streak with a win against Wake Forest. Miami has won the last four meetings between the schools, including a 47-17 win the last time they met in 2005. ... Redshirt freshman QB Robert Marve (Plant) started the Hurricanes' 49-31 win against Duke last week, but Jacory Harris finished it, going 18-of-28 for 185 yards and four touchdowns and rushing 10 times for 53 yards and a touchdown. ... The Demon Deacons were ranked before losing 26-0 at Maryland last week. ... Wake Forest has 26 players from the state of Florida on its roster, the most of any BCS conference school not based in the Sunshine State. ... Miami is ranked fourth in the ACC in total defense, with Wake Forest fifth. Conversely, the Demon Deacons are ranked eighth in total offense, with the Hurricanes ranked ninth.

Pulley also leads the team in rushing, with 455 yards and two touchdowns on 61 carries. ... Norfolk State is on a four-game losing streak after a 35-17 loss to Hampton last week. ... Spartans quarterback Dennis Brown has struggled this season, having gone 80-for-179 for 881 yards, with four touchdowns and nine interceptions. ... Norfolk State is 2-0 at home this season.

Brian Sumlar leads the Wildcats with 387 yards on 83 carries, but Maurice Francois has added 262 yards on 64 carries. The Wildcats lead the MEAC with 1,327 yards rushing for the season. ... Winston-Salem quarterback Jarret Dunston has gone 47 of 100 for 635 yards, three touchdowns and six interceptions this season.
