THE DIFFERENCE: Bulls junior running back Derek Johnson rushed 17 times for 194 yards and three touchdowns for Bloomingdale (5-2).
GAME NOTES: Johnson scored his first of two second quarter touchdowns on a breakaway 68-yard run, quickly separating himself from chasing defenders. Johnson added a 14-yard touchdown run on the Bulls' next possession. ... Both Bulls scores came after long East Bay drives stalled. The first, a 12-play drive, ended in a blocked 20-yard field goal, and the second ended when the Indians recovered a fumble on fourth down. ... East Bay's Tim Young recovered a muffed kickoff on the 16-yard line and the Indians scored two plays later when Andre Simpson rushed toward the right sideline and just broke the plane of the end zone. ... Bloomingdale answered on its next possession after an 80-yard drive ended in a 2-yard scoring run by Wali Efunnuge ... Johnson added a final touchdown for the Bulls late in the fourth quarter from 35 yards out ... The Indians' Chaz Burrows had another 100-yard rushing game, but he was stopped on the 1-yard line as time ran out.
STAT OF THE GAME: The Indians ran 30 plays in the first half, but they were unable to get on scoreboard in the half.
