TAMPA - Baseball's World Series is a time when the dreams of platers and fans come true. It is only fitting that such an occasion can help make the dreams of others come true as well.
The Make-A-Wish foundation and Nikco Sports will be offering a limited edition World Series collectable to Rays fans that includes a replica homeplate, commemorative baseball and cowbell. Only 5,000 of these commemorative sets will be offered to the public for the price of $99.00.
The proceeds from the sale of these collectibles will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and Northern Florida. This charity helps to fulfill the wishes of children who have life-threatening medical conditions and enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy, according to their website.
The proceeds from these commemorative sets is expected to grant the wishes of fifteen local youths.
To order, call 1 (800) 345-2868 or visit their website.
