2 Men Killed When Car Slides Off Road In Pensacola

PENSACOLA - Authorities are investigating a double fatal car accident in Pensacola.
The Florida Highway Patrol reported that the two victims were in a car that skidded off the road and hit a backhoe that was parked in a construction zone early Saturday morning.
The highway patrol identifies the victims as Clayton Helton II and Johnny Raybon. Both were 22 years old.
Officials say Helton was speeding when he failed to take a curve smoothly and ended up skidding off the road sideways into the backhoe.
Neither the driver nor the passenger was wearing a seat belt.
