Bark-O-Ween

Calling all dogs dressed as witches, bats and scaredy-cats! Pinellas' premier pet costume party is from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Belleview Biltmore, 25 Belleview Blvd., Clearwater. Hosted by Fluffy Puppies of Clearwater and emceed by Tribune pet columnist Kristen Levine, the event benefits Stop Pet Overpopulation Together Tampa Bay (SPOT). Admission is $10 a person. Dinner Companions

Dine with your dog from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday during Paws For Friendship's Yappy Hour at Grillsmith Restaurant, 14303 N. Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa. An Event With Legs

Daschund Adoption, Rescue & Education plans a Dox-A-Palooza from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Mango Dog Park, 11717 Clay Pit Road, Seffner. Pets On The Patio

Golf Tournament

Play 18 holes for Lost Angels Animal Rescue at 1 p.m. Nov. 8 during the Keep Your Heart Open Golf Tournament at Bardmoor Golf & Tennis Club, 8001 Cumberland Road, Largo. Learn To Fight Cruelty

Humane Society University brings its national training program, Animal Cruelty 101, to SPCA Tampa Bay, 9099 130th Ave. N., Largo on Nov. 19. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m., and the course is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Register by Oct. 14 for $50; register on or before Nov. 4 for $60. To sign up e-mail register@hsus.org.
