PHILADELPHIA - Sunday was not kind to the Tampa Bay Rays. After losing Game 3 of the World Series in the early hours of the morning, the Rays lost Game 4 to the Phillies at night, 10-2.
Tampa Bay trails three games to one entering tonight's Game 5. Unfortunately for the Rays' hitters, they will have to contend with Cole Hamels, the Phillies' best pitcher. The Rays will counter with Scott Kazmir.
A Phillies victory will make them the World Series champions. If the Rays win, Game 6 would be at Tropicana Field on Wednesday night.
In Game 4, the Rays could not overcome Phillies starting pitcher Joe Blanton and the Philadelphia bats. Blanton earned the victory by allowing just two runs in six innings. He also hit a home run, one of four by Philadelphia.
