St. Petersburg Man In Critical Condition After Shooting

ST. PETERSBURG - A 20-year-old St. Petersburg man was found shot this morning at 330 Indiana Court S., St. Petersburg police said.
Jeremiah C. Powell was shot in the upper torso and was in critical condition at an undisclosed hospital, police said. Officers found him wounded after receiving reports of a person shot just after midnight.
No suspects have been identified, said St. Petersburg police spokesman Bill Proffitt.
Proffitt said investigators are looking for a car in connection with the case: a black, 1996 four-door Mitsubishi Gallant that Powell had borrowed from a friend a few hours before the shooting. Its license tag is 207LUD.
