Marshals' Sweep Targeted 'Worst Of The Worst'

Many of "the worst of the worst" are back on the streets. From July through September, the U.S. Marshals Service conducted Operation Orange Crush, a 10-week sweep targeting "the worst of the worst" criminals. Five were charged with homicide, and 23 were charged with crimes involving weapons. Locally, only about one in five of those arrested remained in jail just days after.
