The February-like temperatures forecast for Wednesday morning could break a number of records and come close to others. It could be the lowest temperature in October at a few airports, according to the National Weather Service.
Here are the forecasts for Wednesday and record lows for Oct. 29 at some airports, along with the coldest morning in October since records started there:
Tampa International:
Record, 44 in 1910; forecast, 45
Coldest October morning since 1890: 40 on Oct. 21, 1964
St. Petersburg:
Record, 49 in 1952; forecast, 50
Coldest October morning since 1915: 47 on Oct. 28, 1957
Lakeland:
Record, 48 in 1952 and 1957; forecast, 41
Coldest October morning since 1946: 42 on Oct. 21, 1989
