Frostproof Motorcyclist Dies In Collision

FROSTPROOF - A motorcyclist died in a traffic crash Monday afternoon in Frostproof.
Kevin M. Lund, 47, of Frostproof, was riding a Harley-Davidson north on U.S. 27 when he struck the right front portion of a Ford F-150 pickup, which had been turning left onto State Road 17, Polk County deputies say.
Lund wasn't wearing a helmet in the 3:50 p.m. crash and he died at the scene, deputies said. The pickup's driver, 53-year-old Charles Williams III, of Crestview, wasn't injured.
The crash is under investigation.
