The show description: "Suzanne Sommers offers tips on losing weight and eating healthy." We're guessing she'll sell some stuff. We can only hope that she does for healthful eating and weight loss what she did for mastering thighs and dumb blond stereotypes.
"Jon & Kate Plus 8," 9:30 tonight, The Learning Channel
This series documents the story of Jon and Kate Gosselin and their eight children - twins and a set of sextuplets - and the challenges they have operating in the world. This episode features a 7th birthday party for twins Madelyn and Cara.
"Kitchen Nightmares," 8 p.m. Thursday, Fox
In the season debut, Chef Gordon Ramsay, fresh from his duties as host and profanity hurler on "Hell's Kitchen," revisits some of the restaurants he counseled last season to evaluate their progress. (Yes, they're using leftovers for a premiere episode.) This includes Peter's in Babylon, N.Y., where the co-owner and manager had temper issues.
