GAINESVILLE - It looks like the University of Florida will have its full complement of players for Saturday's matchup against Miami.
Coach Urban Meyer confirmed Tuesday that WR Percy Harvin, LB Brandon Spikes and OL Jim Tartt would be available.
Harvin has finally recovered from April heel surgery, Spikes suffered a foot injury during practice last week and Tartt has battled a shoulder injury.
"They'll play," Meyer said. "Percy was gimping around a little bit and Brandon looked fine to me."
Meyer said he was unsure if Harvin and Spikes would start Saturday.
UNEXPECTED HEROES: With all of the offensive fireworks on display in the Gators' opener against Hawaii, it would seem logical that Meyer would name Jeff Demps or Chris Rainey the offensive player of the game.
The entire offensive line graded out as champions, with Mike Pouncey leading the way as he graded out at 94 percent according to Meyer, who named him the offensive player of the game.
"I was shocked at first," Pouncey said. "But everyone was telling me hard work pays off, so I'm glad it happened for me and I'll keep working.
"I really think they deserved it with Rainey and Demps in the backfield; all you have to do is hold your blocks for two seconds, so they really deserved it. I guess they felt sorry for me."
NEW TERRITORY: Junior college transfer Carl Moore is set to experience his first rivalry game as a member of the Gators. The California native is keeping his expectations relatively simple, though.
"I'm expecting a win," he said. "I come into every game the same, hoping to do what I have to do to help the team get the win."
According to Moore, Florida has yet to show its full hand offensively, something the Hurricanes should be concerned about.
"Definitely not. We just played and got a couple of big breaks, so we couldn't really open up the offense," Moore said.
