•Former Riverview assistant and first-year head coach Jason Stokes was hired to replace Corey Brinson, who led the program for five seasons.
•Stokes spoke very highly of this year's offensive line, which he said averages about 6-foot-2 and 275 pounds.
•During the summer, five teens stole the school's 400-pound bronze bull statue. All were charged with grand theft.
•Senior receiver Jordan Fry was one of the top receivers in Class 5A-District 7 last year with 14 catches for 209 yards and one TD.
