Tampa Police: Man Exposed Himself Near Mom, Children

TAMPA - Standing behind a tree decoration Wednesday morning in the lobby of the Salvation Army, 1603 N. Florida Ave., Raymond Collier exposed himself and began masturbating, police said.
Collier, 50, who has no home address, then sat down next to a woman and her two children, ages 3 years and 5 months, and continued masturbating, according to a report.
When confronted, Collier left the lobby and walked out to the parking lot, where he tried to punch a witness, police said.
A police officer watched the parking lot incident and arrested Collier, who was charged with assault and committing lewd or lascivious act in the presence of someone younger than 16. He is being held at the Orient Road Jail. Bail was set at $7,750.
