Dear Judge Day:

I realize I cannot get involved in the Eloise Mudway case, but I did want to share some comments with you.

If John and Cynthia Clancy have done even half of what they are alleged to have done, they should get the strongest possible sentence. Too often we read of deadbeat individuals in this state taking advantaged [sic] of our elderly residents. Enough is enough!

Although I believe that the laws we currently have in Florida are tough, if as you are deliberating this case you believe that we need stronger laws, I would be more than happy to introduce legislation next Session to strengthen our current statutes.
