Published: September 6, 2008

THE DIFFERENCE: After Jesuit's starting RB Greg Dupell went down with an ankle injury in the first quarter, backup RB Robby Garcia came in and scored three touchdowns while rushing for 124 yards on 20 carries.

GAME NOTES: Two of Jesuit's starters left the game before the final score. RB Greg Dupell left the game during the first quarter after sustaining a leg injury while teammate Ryan James left the gamed in the third quarter with a leg injury. … Blake's best chance to score was when it had a first down on the 14-yard line in the second quarter. After the Yellow Jackets got a 5-yard penalty, the ball was moved back to the 19-yard line. The next play QB Eugene Davenport threw a 13-yard pass to WR Michael McFarland. But a sack by DE Daryl Belluccia on fourth down turned the ball over to Jesuit, ending Blake's rally. … The Yellow Jackets' Jeremy Green was the only defensive player to record two sacks in the game.

STAT OF THE GAME: Both defenses pressured the quarterback with Blake recording three sacks and Jesuit having five.

QUOTE OF THE GAME: "We had a competition at the quarterback position all from spring until last week. Ryan James won the job based on his performance last week against Chamberlain. When he went down we were confident about Bobby (Eveld). We were very happy with the play of the second team and the way we came together." - Jesuit coach Joe Ross
