INJURY REPORT

Washington S Darin Harris was placed on a stretcher and taken off the field in an ambulance early in the fourth quarter against No. 15 BYU.

Harris was injured when his head hit the field trying to chase down BYU TE Dennis Pitta, who had just caught a 22-yard pass near the BYU sideline.

Coach Tyrone Willingham said after the game Harris probably has a concussion. School officials said they are unsure of the severity of the concussion, but that all tests at Harborview Medical Center came back negative for any spinal injuries and Harris was being kept overnight for observation.

•Kansas CB Kendrick Harper was taken from Memorial Stadium on a stretcher to an ambulance after apparently injuring his neck against Louisiana Tech.

Harper was injured late in the first quarter when he lowered his head to tackle WR Phillip Livas in the flat. Harper's head snapped back after hitting Livas' shoulder, but he was able to walk to the sideline and sit on a bench. Medical personnel checked on Harper for several minutes before lifting him to a stretcher and immobilizing his head. He appeared to be moving his arms as he was wheeled outside the stadium.

•Cincinnati QB Dustin Grutza is expected to miss about a month after breaking his right leg on a fourth-quarter play in which three Oklahoma players sacked him and then piled on top of him.
