Deputies: Tampa Man, Teen Girl Had Sexual Relationship

TAMPA - Richard Scolaro, 32, met a 13-year-old girl while he worked at Westfield Brandon mall and carried on a relationship with her for several months, Hillsborough County deputies said.
The girl's grandmother found out about the relationship and reported him to law enforcement, sheriff's spokeswoman Debbie Carter said.
The relationship was sexual, according to a criminal arrest affidavit.
Scolaro, of 5109 E. Seneca Ave., Tampa, was arrested Sunday night. He was charged with seven counts of lewd and lascivious battery and one count of interfering with child custody.
Scolaro was in Orient Road Jail today. His bail was set at $54,500.
