CYPRESS ELEMENTARY: Banking day will take place today. Tuesday is the last day of the book fair.
Orff practice will be from 8:30 to 9:20 a.m. Wednesday. The chorus will practice from 8:30 to 9:20 a.m. Friday.
DEER PARK ELEMENTARY: Third grade academic night will run from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The school is inviting all third-grade students and their parents to join them this night to discuss academic expectations for third-graders and how parents and teachers can partner to help their children succeed.
MOORE MICKENS EDUCATION CENTER: The school will host an open house for parents and students at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Parents and students will meet in the media center and then visit teachers in their classrooms.
OAKSTEAD ELEMENTARY: Parents can meet teachers and enjoy an ice cream social during open houses this week. Primary, kindergarten and first-grade students will have their open house from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Transitional, second- and third-grade students will have their open house from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. The open house for intermediate, fourth- and fifth-grade students will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday. There will be an activities overview for fifth-graders from 7:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
PINE VIEW ELEMENTARY: The scholastic book fair will begin today in the media center.
Monday is open house. Kindergartners and first-graders will have their open house from 6 to 6:45 p.m.; second- and third-graders will have an open house from 6:45 to 7:30 p.m. The fourth- and fifth-grade open house will be from 7:30 to 8:15 p.m., as will the open house for gifted students in grades three through five.
The PTA summer reading program will end Tuesday.
SAC ballots are due Thursday.
The book fair will end Friday.
QUAIL HOLLOW ELEMENTARY: The Quail Hollow PTO will be hosting another membership drive Thursday during the open house.
The entertainment books fundraiser will run through Sept. 22.
The PTO board meets at 5 p.m. every third Friday. Meeting locations will be put in the bulletin boards in the front entry way of the school.
SANDERS ELEMENTARY: The open house for K-2 will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. The open house for students in grades three through five will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Parents and students can enjoy free ice cream; parents can vote for SAC members and sign up for the PTA.
WEST ZEPHYRHILLS ELEMENTARY: The primary and intermediate open house and Title 1 meeting will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday. The PTA officers will be installed; the book fair will be going in the media room, and the school will have SES providers in the art room to provide information for parents whose children will be receiving after-school tutoring.
