Hogan, Bubba Join Forces In Celebrity Wrestling Show

Radio shock jock Bubba the Love Sponge Clem will be the play-by-play announcer of a Hulk Hogan reality television show premiering on the CMT channel in the fall, Clem's publicist said Tuesday in a written announcement.

"Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Championship Wrestling" will feature 10 celebrities training to be professional wrestlers.

"Bubba has been one of my closest friends for well over 10 years and has dabbled in the wrestling biz with me for about as long," Hogan says in the announcement. "When asked if I had anyone in mind to be the announcer, my eyes lit up and I yelled out loud, 'Bubba!'"

Clem, of Tampa, hosts a morning radio show that airs in Jacksonville and on Tampa's WHPT, 102.5 FM, from 6 to 10 a.m. weekdays.

McMahon May Get To Keep Home

Ed McMahon's mortgage on his estate near Beverly Hills, Calif., may be bought by Foreclosure Trackers Inc., which said it would allow the former "Tonight Show" sidekick to remain in the home.

Foreclosure Trackers worked out an agreement with McMahon, 85, and "is nearing the end of negotiations" with Countrywide Financial Corp., Foreclosure Trackers said Tuesday in a statement.

Countrywide has set an Oct. 2 auction date for the house, which is listed at $4.6 million, said Alex Davis, McMahon's real estate broker.
Oasis Concert Postponed After Attack

British band Oasis has postponed its concert in London, Ontario, after a fan attacked and injured guitarist Noel Gallagher.

A statement on the band's Web site said Gallagher had bruises on his ribs and hip.

He was injured Sunday after a man ran onto the stage during a performance in Toronto. Gallagher was pushed from behind and fell onto his monitor speakers.

Daniel Sullivan, 47, of Pickering, Ontario, has been charged with assault and is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 24.

The London, Ontario, show has been rescheduled for Dec. 15.

Ex-Wrestler Takes Fight Outside Ring

Most of former professional wrestler Ric Flair's fights were scripted.

But Chapel Hill, N.C., police didn't find anything fake about blood and bruises on the Nature Boy after a fight with his daughter's 22-year-old boyfriend.

Neither man was charged, but Flair's daughter, Ashley Elizabeth Fliehr, was charged with resisting police after the 22-year-old kicked an officer, Chapel Hill police Lt. Kevin Gunter said Tuesday.
