TAMPA - Two women were arrested Tuesday afternoon at the Magic Health Spa, 4553 W. Kennedy Blvd., after one offered to perform a sex act on an undercover officer for money, police said.
When police tried to arrest masseuse Young Son, 47, of Queens, N.Y., she ran out of the business but was quickly apprehended, according to a police report.
The spa manager, Kum Ok Wall, 59, of Fort Wayne, Ind., was arrested for obstructing or opposing an officer without violence.
Son was charged with three counts of unlicensed practice of health care, two counts of prostitution and two counts of obstructing or opposing an officer without violence. She was released from the Orient Road Jail on $5,500 bail.
When reached by phone, Son said that she had been approached by the undercover police officer.
Wall was released from jail on $500 bail.
