Forbidden Kingdom **½
Martial arts movie legends Jackie Chan and Jet Li share the screen for the first time in this light-hearted adventure, though neither gets as much screen time as adolescent protagonist Michael Angarano, a social outcast whose fantasies about his beloved Hong Kong cinema come to life in the form of an elaborate quest involving monkeys and weapons.
PG-13, 113 minutes
Baby Mama **½
Former "Saturday Night Live" castmates Tina "30 Rock" Fey and Amy "Blades of Glory" Poehler do their best to inject a little estrogen into the world of mainstream comedy by headlining this story about a thirtysomething career woman (Fey) who decides she wants a baby - and hires Poehler to be her surrogate, necessitating an "Odd Couple" cohabitation.
PG-13, 96 minutes
The Fall
Music video vet Tarsem Singh ("The Cell") returns with an even more bizarre and ambitious work about a stuntman (Lee Pace of "Pushing Daisies") who meets a child while both are recuperating in the hospital. The fantastic story he tells the little girl is sprawling, messy and loosely connected to reality, much like the movie itself.
