ST. PETERSBURG - Firefighters saved a St. Petersburg home from burning down early this morning.
No one was inside the one-story residence at 1730 Queen St. S. about 3:15 a.m., when St. Petersburg Fire and Rescue arrived, authorities said.
Firefighters quickly contained the blaze to a back bedroom.
Fire investigators are still determining the fire's cause but say it caused about $15,000 in damages to the $109, 000 home.
Firefighters said no smoke alarms were in the home.
